THE EXCHANGE and Vallejo Clay are joining forces to bring young makers the ultimate summer creative experience, combining morning pottery with afternoon artistic exploration! ✨

Transform your child's summer afternoons into a creative adventure! Following their morning clay sessions at Vallejo Clay, young makers continue their artistic journey at THE CREW with hands-on exploration, imaginative play, and weekly take-home creations.

WEEKLY ADVENTURES:

🌿 Week 1 (June 16-20): Eco-Art Adventure

Explore the magic of creating with natural and sustainable materials. Discover how art and nature combine in wonderful ways!

🎨 Week 2 (June 23-27): Print & Pattern Week

Dive into the world of printmaking and pattern creation. A week of colorful exploration and design discovery!

⚡ Week 3 (July 7-11): STEAM Makers Week

Where science meets creativity! Engineer, experiment, and invent through hands-on creative play.

📚 Week 4 (July 14-18): Paper Transformation

Discover the endless possibilities of paper arts. From 2D to 3D, watch paper come alive through creative engineering!

🎭 Week 5 (July 21-25): Imagination Builders

Build worlds, tell stories, and bring ideas to life through imaginative play and creative construction.

Each afternoon includes:

• Hands-on creative play

• Expert guidance

• Small group attention (max 8 makers)

$300 per weekly adventure (15% sibling discount)

  • We'll be creating from 12:00-4:00 PM! We start with lunch (12-1 PM), giving everyone a chance to refuel and connect before diving into our afternoon adventures.

  • Pack your favorite lunch and or/snack goodies! Due to food allergies, we ask that makers keep their munchies to themselves - but don't worry, lunchtime is still super social and fun!

  • Absolutely! Mix and match any weeks that spark joy. Join us for one creative week or the whole summer - it's totally up to you!

  • Our summer program is designed for creative minds ages 8-12. We've found this sweet spot allows for amazing peer connections and just-right project challenges.

  • We keep it cozy with just 8 makers! This means lots of individual attention and space for everyone's creativity to shine.

  • Not at all! Whether you're an experienced maker or just beginning your creative journey, you'll fit right in. We're all about exploring, experimenting, and having fun!

  • That's awesome! We've designed our afternoon adventures to perfectly complement your morning clay experience. Different materials, new techniques, but all that creative energy keeps flowing!

  • Bring your lunch, a water bottle, and clothes that can get creative with you (aka: clothes that can handle a bit of artistic mess). We'll provide all the other materials for your making adventures!

  • Yes! We love when families create together. Siblings save 15% - because making is more fun when you share it!
